Assistir vídeos com aceleração de hardware ativada me dá som, mas não há imagem

Ao tentar executar o mplayer2 com o vdpau em um laptop compatível com vdpau com o driver gráfico da Nvidia, eu só obtenho áudio dele.

O meu cartão Nvidia deve ser suportado, tanto quanto eu possa ver, por isso pergunto-me se o problema é que não tenho os pacotes ou a configuração correta:

De acordo com as informações postadas em sua pergunta, você tem uma solução de GPU híbrida que usa Intel + Nvidia ao mesmo tempo.

Para ativar sua placa Nvidia, você precisa instalar o Bumblebee ou desativar a placa Intel no seu BIOS (se possível).

Se a desativação da placa Intel no BIOS do seu computador não for uma opção, você não terá outra escolha além de usar o Bumblebee.

Se você precisar de informações sobre o Bumblebee, por favor dê uma olhada neste post, ele explica em detalhes como habilitar o suporte para executar o Ubuntu com a placa Intel e a Nvidia ativada

Se você já está usando o Bumblebee, isso não significa que o suporte ao vdpau esteja instalado, você precisa instalar o suporte do vdpau para o seu cartão, conforme descrito aqui

Depois de ter gerenciado com êxito o run run, o bumblebee vainfo ainda falhará porque a placa Intel ainda será a placa padrão.

Eu encontrei um script que mudará a placa da Intel para a Nvidia e tentará abrir o media player . As instruções básicas para usar isso são descritas aqui , lembre-se que este é um script de fontes externas, não garantias de que isso irá funcionar, você pode testá-lo você mesmo.

Aqui estão as instruções retiradas do relatório de erros:

  

  1. Construa o windbull, mas não use o xorg.conf incluído!    link (inclui bordas para toda a janela despejada)    link (inclui melhor suporte ao cursor, mas a janela descartada cobrirá a parte da área de trabalho da Intel e não poderá ser movida)

    2.   

  2. Inicie o servidor Bumblebee X   optirun glxinfo

    3.   

  3. Execute o Compiz (ou Metacity) na Nvidia para que a janela despejada possa ser movida. Se você pular isto, a reprodução do VDPAU será verde.   DISPLAY =: 8 compiz --replace & amp;

    4.   

  4. Executar o mplayer2   DISPLAY =: 8 mplayer -vo vdpau videofilename & amp;

    5.   

  5. Janela de despejo   ./windump: 8: 0,0 & amp;

    6.   

  6. Agora você tem saída VDPAU!

    7.
