Comando para recarregar o arquivo do disco para mostrar mudanças ao usar “menos?”

Em less existe um comando para recarregar um arquivo do disco, para que menos mostre as alterações feitas em um arquivo, já que menos foi iniciado? Isso me salvaria de ter que finalizar e reiniciar o less se eu quiser ver as alterações no arquivo que estou visualizando.

Existem dois comandos possivelmente relevantes detalhados no manual fino para less(1)

   R      Repaint the screen, discarding any buffered  input.   Useful  if
          the file is changing while it is being viewed.

   F      Scroll  forward, and keep trying to read when the end of file is
          reached.  Normally this command would be used  when  already  at
          the  end of the file.  It is a way to monitor the tail of a file
          which is growing while it is being  viewed.   (The  behavior  is
          similar to the "tail -f" command.)

R para repinta recarrega o arquivo no Linux, mas não funciona no Mac.

Uma solução alternativa para o Mac é pressionar hq , que abrirá a página de Ajuda e sairá. Tem um efeito colateral de recarregar o arquivo.
