Alterando a senha raiz do telnet do roteador netgear

Eu tenho um roteador Netgear JNR1010, mas não consigo alterar a senha de root do roteador. Router Firmware Version is 1.0.0.18

Alguém pode me ajudar sobre como alterar minha senha de root ou desligar o serviço de telnet. Pesquisei por opções na interface da Web, mas sem sucesso.

Por favor, note que eu não quero mudar o firmware padrão devido a problemas de garantia.

Eu assumo que você não pode usar o comando passwd no busybox. Então você deve editar o arquivo / etc / passwd ou o arquivo / etc / shadow . Ou mais fácil, você pode tentar alterá-lo na página da web do administrador. Você deve notar que no arquivo passwd e shadow a senha é um hash da chave.
