Estou tentando conectar meu adaptador sem fio TP-Link AC600 através da porta USB para conectar-me ao Kali linux Rolling, mas estou com problemas para mostrar ifconfig

Observação: eu intencionalmente defino o endereço MAC e inet6 para todos os 0s para postar isso.

Eu sei que existe porque eu corri iwconfig :

    root@kali:~# iwconfig

    ra0       Ralink STA  

    root@kali:~# 

Eu tentei falar sobre isso, mas recebi um erro:

    root@kali:~# ifconfig ra0 up

Confirmei que o kali sabe que meu adaptador está conectado:

Eu nunca tive esse problema com meu antigo adaptador Wi-Fi Edimax N150.

Pode ser útil saber que estou executando uma máquina virtual com o VirtualBox Versão 5.1.20 r114628 (Qt5.6.2) com o Guest Additions instalado.

Editar 2: Eu instalei o driver do este repositório github usando as instruções em seu arquivo README.

Quando executo lsmod , a seguinte entrada aparece na lista:

Tudo o que você precisa fazer é:

sudo ifconfig ra0 up

Use o sudo antes do seu comando e ele funcionará.
