Eu tenho um livro que estou escrevendo no TeX, o que é legal, mas só recentemente percebi o quão feia minha exportação local do TeX para PDF parece:
Para referência, o meu está à esquerda, e uma caixa aleatória do Linux à qual eu tenho acesso gerou o da direita. Veja o quanto mais nítido é? Eu estou meio confuso sobre o porquê disso.

Edit: Acabei de perceber que a caixa do Linux usa libpoppler
e usei xpdf
