Como iniciar o icewm?

Question

Eu instalei icewm 1.2.13. Metacity é o meu gerenciador de janelas padrão. Geralmente, para substituir a opção --replace do gerenciador de janelas, por exemplo, metacity --replace . Mas minha versão do icewm não tem essa opção. :

# icewm --help

Quando tento iniciar icewm , recebo esta mensagem:

# icewm

Como começar icewm ?

(eu uso o Centos 6.5)

Comece com a opção --replace para o mesmo resultado:

# icewm --replace

Encontrei alguma solução, mas é desconfortável. Eu mudei o sistema runlevel para 3. Isso desativa o modo gráfico. Quando estou no modo de texto, eu mando:

# which icewm
/path
# xinit -e /path

xterm é necessário para executá-lo.

Existe uma solução melhor? Eu gostaria de simplesmente substituir o gerenciador de janelas.
