Como alterar o constrast no Ubuntu com terminal ou usando uma ferramenta do KDE?

Eu gostaria de mudar o contraste e não apenas o brilho. Meu brilho pode ser ajustado no KDE usando minha tecla Fn, mas eu gostaria de fazer isso com o contraste também.

Alguns comandos funcionam como

xbacklight -set 0

ou

xgamma -rgamma 0.1 e derivativo

mas ninguém altera o contraste. Existe uma maneira de ajustar o contraste usando o terminal ou qualquer ferramenta no KDE?
