Acabei de instalar o FreeNX na minha caixa do Ubuntu:
add-apt-repository ppa:freenx-team/ppa
aptitude update
aptitude install freenx
Usando o nxclient NoMachine, estou selecionando Shadow Session e posso autenticar, depois vejo duas sessões. Qualquer um que eu escolha, eu recebo:
