Conectado ao wifi, mas sem internet no Ubuntu 12.04

Minha nova edição de desenvolvedor do dwell xps 13 haswell (com o Ubuntu 12.04) começou a ter problemas com o wifi.

Tudo funcionou muito bem até o anoitecer, quando conectei meu computador ao wifi no trabalho (funcionou muito bem) e voltei para casa e conectei-me ao wifi usual.

Parecia conectado, mas a internet não funcionava. Eu tentei muitas soluções propostas neste site como, modificando o arquivo ilwifi.conf adicionando o comando: options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1 .

Funciona muito bem usando o cabo, e não em todos usin wifi. Eu instalei o wicd e a interface me diz que não há rede sem fio encontrada.

Eu também desativei o proxy no Mozilla, mas ainda não obtive sucesso. Eu também reinstalei os drivers para minha placa wifi e, novamente, sem sucesso.

Eu também liguei para o suporte da Dell para mais informações e eles me fizeram mudar o canal para o ponto de acesso de Wi-Fi de automático para 11, porque eles disseram que é mais compatível com seu cartão wi-fi. Agora está funcionando. Mas às vezes fica muito lento. Por outro lado, quando eu conecto a wifi no trabalho, funciona muito bem.

Sugiro que você tente o arquivo de firmware atualizado mais recente. Com uma conexão Ethernet com fio, abra um terminal e faça:

cd /lib/firmware
sudo mv iwlwifi-7260-7.ucode  iwlwifi-7260-7.ucode.bak
sudo wget https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/egrumbach/linux-firmware.git/plain/iwlwifi-7260-7.ucode

Descarregue e recarregue o driver para ver e usar o firmware mais recente:

sudo modprobe -r iwldvm
sudo modprobe -r iwlwifi
sudo modprobe iwlwifi

Desconecte a ethernet e seu wireless deve estar funcionando corretamente.

Se ainda não estiver funcionando, verifique as pistas informativas:

dmesg | grep iwl

O pacote oem-wireless-bluetooth instala uma versão anterior do iwlwifi que solicita o 7260-6.ucode. A versão mais estável é 7260-7.ucode. Enquanto você instalou o firmware mais novo, o driver instalado ainda está chamando o mais antigo. Vamos consertar:

sudo apt-get remove --purge oem-wireless-bluetooth-intel-7260-dkms*

Baixe este arquivo para a sua área de trabalho: link Clique com o botão direito e selecione" Extrair aqui ". De volta ao terminal:

cd ~/Desktop/backports-3.12.8-1
make defconfig-iwlwifi
make
sudo make install

Reinicie e deixe-nos ouvir seu relatório.
