Então, meu problema é que eu recentemente coloquei o Ubuntu 12.10 como dual boot no meu pc desktop. Depois de algumas horas pesquisando, consegui que meu D-Link DWA-142 "funcionasse". No entanto, ele só verá as redes, mas não se conectará. Ele se conectou à rede uma vez, mas caiu depois de alguns minutos. Eu já fiz apt-get upgrade & amp; & amp; atualizar . Atualmente estou conectando via minha galáxia s2. Se eu colocar em um hotspot através do smartphone, ele irá se conectar, mas não terá uma conexão à internet. Agradecemos antecipadamente.

Também notei esse problema, mas apenas em um ponto de Wi-Fi durante a viagem. Não foi exatamente um problema do Ubuntu / Linux, já que a reinicialização para o Windows mostrou quase exatamente o mesmo comportamento.
Consegui obter uma conexão melhor em um Android, pelo menos, ele se conectaria de maneira confiável e o Wi-Fi seria interrompido após alguns minutos, não alguns segundos, como normalmente acontece com o cartão sem fio Killer.
Meu melhor palpite seria uma de duas coisas - o driver wireless não tem seu timeout configurado corretamente (não sei como você mudaria isso, exceto atualizando para um driver / kernel que corrigiu isso), ou há algum tipo de interferência que está afetando sua placa wireless mais do que outras?
