explorer.exe falha ao clicar com o botão direito em um arquivo .ts

Eu tenho uma máquina Windows 10 com muitos arquivos .ts ( typescript ). O problema é que, de repente, sempre que clico com o botão direito nesse tipo de arquivo, meu PC congela e, após alguns segundos, parece que o processo explorer.exe é reiniciado (todas as janelas desaparecem por alguns segundos e voltam depois). Tentei remover todas as extensões de terceiros usando o utilitário shexview , mas isso não ajudou. também, no modo de segurança, clicar com o botão direito nos arquivos funciona bem.
Alguma sugestão sobre o que está causando isso e como corrigi-lo?

Parece o problema de decodificação de DVD conhecido com a atualização KB4013429 , que foi corrigida em KB4015438 :

Addressed a known issue with KB4013429 that caused Windows DVD Player (and 3rd party apps that use Microsoft MPEG-2 handling libraries) to crash.

Parece que o Explorer tenta gerar miniaturas e falhas por causa do bug.

Então, o melhor é baixar e instalar a atualização mais recente < href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4016635"> KB4016635 (Construção do SO 14393.970) para corrigir o seu problema.
