Instalei alguns Ubuntu no meu Eee Pc há alguns anos e a webcam não funcionou. Isso realmente não me incomodou, porque eu não usei de qualquer maneira.
Recentemente, atualizei para o Ubuntu 17.04 (como na partição do Ubuntu e recém-instalado). Ao solucionar alguns outros problemas, visitei /var/log/Xorg.0.log e observei a seguinte seção:

Eu não tenho idéia de por que o Xorg está manipulando dispositivos USB / entrada (não é um servidor display ?),
mas a questão principal é:
Como posso impedir que o Ubuntu / Xorg tente usar minha pobre webcam como um teclado e começar a usá-lo como uma webcam real?
