Passei algumas horas ontem pesquisando pelo registro, removendo o item em minha própria máquina e depois escrevendo scripts para automatizar o processo de remoção (e restauração) do item de menu de contexto do problema. Observe que eu só testei em minha máquina com Windows 7 executando o Windows Media Player 12 e, embora eu automatize esse processo o máximo que posso, há sempre o risco de que as coisas possam dar errado.

Portanto, antes de realizar esse ajuste, crie um ponto de restauração a partir do qual você pode voltar caso algo dê errado.
