Habilitar som avançado de hardware Codec de áudio de alta definição IDT

Question

Eu trouxe um novo laptop HP Pavilion 6g 2301ek e entre os problemas de driver que encontrei (que não consegui resolver) está o aprimoramento de hardware IDT. No Windows, usando o driver de som genérico, a saída de som é a mesma do Ubuntu agora. Logo após instalar o driver IDT no windows, ele poderia ativar o aprimoramento de hardware Dolby, eu não poderia fazer o mesmo no Ubuntu. Alguma solução?

Não encontrei nenhum driver na rede, algumas pessoas sugeriram soluções de software, mas preciso usar o hardware integrado para isso. Eu estou usando o ubuntu raring 64bit version.
