Eu tenho um aplicativo que divide o vídeo com ffmpeg .

Para evitar erros, gostaria de saber se o arquivo selecionado pelo usuário é vídeo ou não.

Existe algum comando ffmpeg que me informa se ffmpeg pode manipular com êxito o arquivo selecionado ou não (por exemplo, imagens e arquivos de texto selecionados devem ser marcados como incorretos)?

ffmpeg -i <file name>
