Bash incolor na máquina Plesk (debian)

Question

De alguma forma, de um dia para o outro, no meu servidor plesk, o bash / terminal era incolor. Um amigo meu conseguiu fazê-lo voltar à vida (cor, isto é), fazendo algumas alterações na configuração do bash, mas de alguma forma ele não se lança sozinho.

Ele basicamente me disse que eu poderia usar

/etc/skel/.bashrc 

manualmente, após o login.

A pergunta é: como posso fazer com que essa coisa seja ativada no modo de cor toda vez que eu fizer login (seja como meu usuário ou como root)?

Alguém pode ajudar?

Tente:

echo ". /etc/skel/.bashrc" >> ~/.bashrc

Isso acionará a origem do arquivo toda vez que um novo shell (sem login) for gerado.
