regedit para rodar em script, não no background

Existe uma maneira de o regedit ser executado no script, não no plano de fundo. Com / e (exportação) ele é executado em segundo plano e retorna o controle para o console (e também retornaria o controle para um script, penso eu). Eu quero esperar que termine.
