WD Blue 4TB não reconhecido

O WD 4TB é conectado via USB ao RPi2B. Aprecie sua ajuda.

O HDparm exibe 4000GB, mas o kernel não, provavelmente o gdisk, o fdisk também não.

Estou experimentando isso tanto no meu RPi2B quanto nos meus hosts do Mint. Ambos executam um kernel genérico 4. + e suportam 'GPT' e 'Partições Avançadas'.
