Execute cartões Radeon e Nvidia simultaneamente em sistemas baseados em GNU / Linux

Eu tenho a seguinte placa-mãe Asus M5A78L-M / USB-3 .

Ele possui uma placa gráfica integrada ATI Radeon 3000. Eu também tenho uma placa Nvidia GTX 1050 TI discreta. Eu estou usando os drivers proprietários para a placa Nvidia. Cada placa executa um conjunto diferente de monitores, embora eu tenha desconectado a maioria deles, e agora estou no nível 2, conectado às placas diferentes, para simplificar meus testes.

Na maioria das vezes, não consigo mostrar os dois monitores ao mesmo tempo.

Minha milhagem varia de acordo com o sistema operacional que eu instalei. Por exemplo, a configuração funciona perfeitamente;

  • Windows
  • Ubuntu
  • Ubuntu Mate
  • Fedora
  • Red Hat Linux
  • até Manjaro (eu também fiquei espantado)

Ele falha em algumas das distros mais staler;

  • Debian
  • Salto do OpenSuse
  • Gentoo
  • Arch Linux

O que faz com que os sistemas operacionais mais modernos iniciem os monitores com sucesso, enquanto os mais antigos não o fazem?

A primeira solução que pensei para resolver este problema foi copiar o Xorg.conf , mas atualmente parece que nenhuma das distribuições tem esse arquivo.

Pode ser que as novas distribuições, exceto o Windows, estejam rodando o Wayland, assim a configuração só funciona neste ambiente.

Qualquer um de vocês tem alguma idéia sobre essa situação de puxar o cabelo. Eu não quero que a escolha da minha distro seja influenciada pela compatibilidade de hardware de um servidor de exibição.ヽ (ಠ_ಠ) ノ
