Instalação do aplicativo do Sharepoint no loop de inicialização

Estou tentando instalar o SharePoint 2016 no Windows Server 2016 e estou tendo problemas com o instalador de pré-requisitos, ou seja, o App Fabric.
O pré-requisito de desinstalação não deseja se conectar à Internet para baixar o arquivo, descartando:

Error: InternetOpenUrl failed (0X80072F07=-2147012857)

De acordo com os fóruns, isso deve-se a uma caixa que está sendo verificada para avisar sobre a mudança entre o modo seguro e não seguro , mas ele já estava desmarcado.
Em seguida, decidi instalar manualmente a coisa usando cmd e novamente, o instalador de pré-requisitos, então coloquei o exe na raiz da unidade C: e executei este comando:

prerequisiteinstaller.exe /appfabric:c:\WindowsServerAppFabricSetup_x64.exe

E parecia que estávamos fora. No entanto, ao extrair os arquivos, ele pede uma reinicialização, o que eu faço, e depois reinicia a operação inteira, novamente solicitando uma reinicialização no final. Encontrei o comando executado após a reinicialização, que é o mesmo comando acima para instalar, mas com uma opção / continue depois. Então eu corri este comando também e continua a cadeia de reinicialização.
Alguma idéia de como eu posso instalar este software irritante?

Depois de descobrir este link Eu alterei o PSModulePath em Variáveis de Ambiente para incluir:

%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\

E milagrosamente instalado sem problemas.
