SSD incrivelmente lento lê no Debian Jessie

Eu configurei um computador de mesa depois de nove meses no sótão. De alguma forma duvido que isso esteja relacionado, mas não me lembro de ser assim.

Demorou cerca de seis minutos para iniciar, mais alguns minutos para que a tela de login da GUI aparecesse e mais alguns minutos para o gerente da área de trabalho mostrar.

hdparm deu a seguinte saída:

# hdparm -tT /dev/sda
/dev/sda:

 Timing buffered disk reads:   2 MB in  4.45 seconds = 459.91 kB/sec

Eu então executei o fstrim assim:

# fstrim -a -v

/boot: 397.1 MiB (416373760 bytes) trimmed
/: 5.2 GiB (5628624896 bytes) trimmed

O hdparm melhorou um pouco:

# hdparm -tT /dev/sda

 Timing cached reads:   23604 MB in  2.00 seconds = 11811.48 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads:  54 MB in  4.27 seconds =  12.65 MB/sec
