Existe uma maneira de instalar o Google Chrome no Linux e ter todas as dependências necessárias instaladas automaticamente?

Estou tentando instalar o Google Chrome na seguinte versão do Linux de 64 bits…

[davea@mydevbox mydir]$ uname -a

Depois de baixar o pacote rpm e tentar instalar, recebo os erros abaixo…

Outro link dizia que eu precisava ter o “lsb” e o “libXScrnSaver” instalados, o que fiz através do yum. Existe alguma maneira de instalar o Google Chrome e ter todas as dependências instaladas automaticamente para você?

Editar: tentei sua sugestão, mas estou recebendo muitos erros sobre não conseguir encontrar dependências…

Você obviamente usa o Amazon Linux. Isso é derivado do CentOS. Mas com algumas alterações . Então, não tenho certeza se seu objetivo é mesmo possível. É melhor usar o CentOS. Mas mesmo assim - algumas versões do Chrome não suportam o CentOS, depois o Google adiciona o suporte de volta. IIRC este suporte / flip não suportado acontece várias vezes. Então você vai economizar usando o Chrome no Fedora. Existe até o repositório com o Chromium (versão gratuita do Chrome) para o Fedora.

Cuidado com hífens ruins nessas instruções! Copie e cole em um editor de texto e corrija todos os hífens antes de executar esses comandos.
