Como mudar o nome real com o exim?

Quando eu envio um email por meio de exim , obtenho uma linha From semelhante a esta:

From: smith <[email protected]>
      ^^^^^

Como obtenho o exim para alterar a parte marcada acima?

Eu posso alterar o endereço de e-mail usando a seção de reescrita do conf, mas não consigo descobrir como alterar o nome.

Como descrito em 34,8 Flags controlando o processo de reescrita , use o w flag para reescrever todo o campo em vez de apenas a parte do email:

Sometimes there is a need to replace the whole address item, and this can be done by adding the flag letter 'w' to a rule. If this is set on a rule that causes an address in a header to be rewritten, the entire address is replaced, not just the working part. The replacement must be a complete RFC 822 address, including the angle brackets if necessary.
