Estou tentando transferir arquivos do meu celular Samsung Galaxy S3 que está executando o Android 4.4.2. Instalei o libmtp
e também instalei um monte de outros pacotes relacionados ao mtp, mas o Elementary OS não detecta o telefone. De fato, sempre que eu conecto, o eOS acha que o telefone é uma conexão ethernet (possivelmente ethernet via USB).
Eu tentei alterar a conexão UART do PDA para o MODEM, mas isso não funciona. Eu tentei ativar a depuração do desenvolvedor no dispositivo. Mas isso não funciona.
Quando eu conecto o dispositivo, vejo isso aparecer no meu arquivo /var/log/syslog

Pelo que parece, meu laptop não está vendo o telefone como um dispositivo MTP, mesmo que o telefone realmente use o MTP.
Atualmente, tenho usado meu wireless para transferir os arquivos, mas isso tem se mostrado lento. Além disso, tenho que manter a tela ligada, senão o telefone desconectará do meu WiFi.
Existe alguma maneira de conectar meu telefone ao meu laptop via USB para transferir arquivos?
