Conexão Linux PPPD terminada - LCP terminado por peer (solicitação do usuário)

Estou tentando estabelecer uma conexão PPP GPRS (para a rede de dados Rogers Wireless no Canadá) usando o modem Telit HE910, mas parece que algo está errado durante a negociação do DNS:

Para qualquer outra pessoa que se depara com isso, o problema acabou sendo que meu provedor de dados móveis (que pega carona na rede rogers, mas não é realmente rogers) tinha seu próprio APN privado e eu precisava atualizar meu script de chat para usar o nome do provedor privado APN em vez do nome público de rogers.
