Como sair de uma tela azul em um Mac Mini

Eu fiz uma atualização do sistema ontem e havia apenas uma, que era para a minha impressora Epson. Hoje, na reinicialização, eu recebo uma tela azul com um disco giratório. Consegui colocar meu disco de instalação e pressionei o botão C mas nada. Eu reiniciei e segurei a tecla do mouse, mas o DVD não quer sair. Eu tenho um teclado sem fio do Windows e segurei todas as teclas possíveis, mas ainda sem sorte.

Eu tenho esse Mac Mini com o Snow Leopard 10.6.8 há cerca de 7 anos, mas acho que finalmente o tive. Alguma idéia por favor antes de eu comprar um novo pc?

The likely cause is a corrupt system file which can be cured by booting the mini from the OS X installation disk, or the Recovery Disk that came with the mini, and running an Archive and Install of the system. Prior to doing that, and after you have booted the machine from an external disk, run the disk utility that you will find on the OS X installation disk. If all is well, proceed with the Archive and Install.

Archive and Install will preserve all your data while replacing the system.
