Eu quero conectar um CAN à interface USB para programar uma unidade de controle do motor para uma máquina virtual WinXP.
somente este dispositivo não está listado sob o pequeno ícone USB no canto inferior esquerdo da janela vm.
rodando usb-devices eu recebo as seguintes informações:

Minha VM funciona com todos os outros dispositivos usb (incluindo alguns incomuns). O dispositivo que não está funcionando no meu sistema está funcionando bem com o VirtualBox em um Mac e um host BSD meus colegas laptops.
Estou executando o Ubuntu 12.04 e o VirtualBox 4.1.18
Agradecemos desde já que isso facilitasse bastante o meu trabalho, não ter que dar o boot o tempo todo: - (
