Tenha cuidado para que os arquivos sejam nomeados corretamente, ao copiá-lo para /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0 /
Atualizei recentemente por causa de um driver de wifi ausente (Qualcomm Atheros Device [168c: 003e] - ath10k_pci) para 4.2.0-18-generic / firmware_1.149.2.
O Wifi ainda não está funcionando (mesmo com o driver).

O firmware-5.bin para QCA6174 não foi encontrado no lib / firmware / ath10k / QCA6174 / hw3.0. Por isso eu copiei da pasta hw2.1. A outra coisa era que o ath10k.conf estava faltando.
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/ath10k.conf

mas após a reinicialização ainda não há wifi.
