Como encontrar o adaptador bluetooth embutido no laptop Toshiba Satellite c55-896

Estou usando o Ubuntu há mais de um ano, mas recentemente encontrei um problema antigo novamente.

Quando eu instalei o Ubuntu pela primeira vez, ele dizia 'Nenhum adaptador encontrado' na seção Bluetooth. Eu quero comprar um mouse sem fio e não consegui descobrir uma maneira de contornar isso. Eu posso usar minhas portas para um bluetooth externo ou comprar um novo laptop.

Alguém pode me ajudar a descobrir por que meu bluetooth não está sendo reconhecido?

O problema é que linux-firmware package não contém firmware requerido por este módulo. Isso é mostrado por Patch file not found ar3k/AthrBT_0x31010100.dfu .

Isso pode ser corrigido instalando o pacote linux-firmware que possui o firmware. Correr no terminal

sudo dpkg -i linux-firmware*.deb

Seu bluetooth deve funcionar após a reinicialização.

Atualizar Enviei este firmware para linux-firmware mantenedores e ele foi adicionado. Mais cedo ou mais tarde, ele entrará em repositórios do Ubuntu.
