No meu notebook HP 625 executando o Ubuntu 14.10 com kernel 3.16.0-28, o leitor de cartão SD parou de funcionar depois de algum tempo. As últimas ações relacionadas a este dispositivo foram a instalação de exfat-fuse
e exfat-utils
para montar cartões SDXC. Isso foi bem-sucedido, mas depois de copiar alguns arquivos do cartão para o disco rígido, o dispositivo parou de funcionar.
Agora, não há nada aparecendo em cat /proc/partitions
(ou seja, a saída é idêntica antes e depois de inserir um cartão (SD ou SDXC, não importa)).

parece não ter um leitor de cartão SD incluído:

A desinstalação de exfat-fuse exfat-utils
não altera nada nem a reinstalação dos pacotes.
O dispositivo está ativado no BIOS.
Parece que os drivers para este dispositivo desapareceram, não é? Como eu reativo isso?
