WiFi pára de funcionar depois de um tempo no Lenovo ThinkPad W520 (Ubuntu 12.04)

Depois de vários minutos (não sei quantos) não há conexão com a internet no meu laptop via Wi-Fi. O Ubuntu não mostra nenhum tipo de mensagem de que meu Wi-Fi foi desconectado nem há uma queda de sinal, mas de repente Firefox pára de se conectar a páginas da web.Eu verifiquei o meu modem / roteador e parece que ele está funcionando bem.Eu tentei também para reiniciar o dispositivo WiFi e nada acontece.A única coisa que faz com que ele funcione novamente é uma reinicialização do sistema e Se eu não quiser fazer uma reinicialização, então eu sou obrigado a se conectar à Internet usando o cabo Ethernet. Alguém sabe o que está acontecendo?

A coisa mais estranha é essa imagem que tirei depois de executar o programa **Additional Drivers** . Quero dizer que tenho uma NVidia Quadro 1000M e minha placa Intel Centrino WiFi e isso mostra que não há drivers proprietários para o meu sistema.

Parece que isso acontece depois de um tempo para economizar energia.
Eu tentei esta solução, mas ainda estou esperando para saber se isso vai resolver o problema ...

echo "#!/bin/sh
/sbin/iwconfig eth1 power off" | sudo tee /etc/pm/power.d/wireless
