Remova este arquivo: /etc/tomcat7/tomcat-users.xml , reinicie o sistema e execute os comandos abaixo
sudo apt-get update
então
sudo apt-get install tomcat7
sudo service tomcat7 restart
estou tentando instalar o tomcat7 no Ubuntu 14.04 usando o
$sudo apt-get install tomcat7 , mas apresenta um erro como
