Muitas semeadoras disponíveis, poucas conectadas

Essa é uma pergunta antiga, mas até agora não vi uma resposta satisfatória.

Por que o uTorrent mostra dezenas de seeders / lechers disponíveis, mas apenas se conecta com poucos?

No exemplo abaixo, o uTorrent mostra 11 semeadoras disponíveis , mas apenas se conecta a 5 . O mesmo com os colegas, 39 disponíveis, mas apenas se conecta com 6.

Além disso, minha conexão é fibra óptica , alta velocidade, configurei corretamente o uTorrent para não limitar o número de downloads, nem a velocidade.

Mas, afinal, o uTorrent insiste em sempre se conectar a menos seeders / lechers.

Alguém saberia como melhorar isso?

Há muita incerteza no número entre parênteses, pois é uma estimativa.
No exemplo, o µTorrent provavelmente não consegue se conectar às outras 6 possíveis sementes.

O cliente tenta e aceita conexões até atingir um dos limites definidos em:
Preferências ( Ctrl + P ) > Largura de banda

• Número máximo global de conexões
• Número máximo de pares conectados por torrent

Do µTorrent User Manual (Pressione F1 ) > Apêndice A: A interface µTorrent > Janela Principal > Lista de Trabalhos Torrent :

• Peers displays the number of peers you are connected to, and the number of peers in the swarm within the parentheses. The number of peers in the swarm is an estimate based on the maximum number of peers found either between the amounts reported by any tracker, or the number of peers µTorrent has encountered within its peer cache. If the torrent job is stopped, and bt.scrape_stopped is enabled, µTorrent will show the maximum number of peers in the swarm as reported by the tracker scrapes.

Porque, de acordo com o fórum do uTorrent , há um número ótimo de conexões.

O colunista da Doyen IT Robert X. Cringely relatou uma vez que obteve o melhor resultado com seis torrents em andamento; mais conexões, menos velocidade total, conforme suas experiências. (Gostaria de poder encontrar esse post no blog ....)
