O X201i está passando por reinicializações súbitas aleatoriamente.
Ele está executando o Lubuntu 16.04

A distribuição está atualizada até hoje e ainda enfrenta o problema.
Isso acontece independentemente de o sistema estar inativo, o sistema estar funcionando com bateria ou o sistema estar funcionando com energia.
Eu tentei algumas coisas.
O primeiro deles foi configurar o sistema operacional Linux para que ele não substitua a configuração do BIOS:
No arquivo /etc/default/grub
, adicionei a propriedade intel_idle.max_cstate=1
no final da linha que contém o valor "splash inicial", como
%código%.
Ao mesmo tempo, configurei o BIOS para que a CPU estivesse funcionando com sua potência máxima, evitando os modos de economia de energia.
Parecia ajudar um pouco, pois parecia que ele quebrava com menos frequência, algumas vezes durante o dia, em vez de a cada meia hora.
Outra coisa que fiz foi tentar baixar a frequência de atualização da tela de 60 para 50, mas isso não ajudou a melhorar a situação.
A última coisa que fiz foi desligar a troca com o comando GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=1"
, mas isso também não fez nada para melhorar as coisas.
Isso está realmente acontecendo em momentos aleatórios, às vezes eu nem estou na máquina. Eu posso deixar em execução e se quando eu voltar algumas horas mais tarde, provavelmente ele terá reiniciado.
Então notei algo que faz com que ele trave e reinicie consistentemente: se eu tentar copiar muitos arquivos do meu disco rígido para um drive USB externo com o comando sudo swapoff -a
, ou se eu tentar executar o seguinte comando cp -fr work/* /media/.../work
para consertar o disco rígido externo, ele também trava e reinicia. Isso me fez pensar que o problema está relacionado às operações do disco rígido.
Fiz um teste longo usando o comando dosfsck -a /dev/sdb1
e os resultados pareciam corretos:

UPDATE: Acabei de notar que fazer debbuging sob o Eclipse faz com que a falha e reinicie consistentemente.
UPDATE: Eu tive uma ideia esta manhã. Eu pensei, e se eu continuo reiniciando o computador o dia todo sem esperar que o problema ocorra? Eu verei o problema ocorrer hoje? E assim eu fiz. Eu continuei reiniciando o computador de vez em quando, muitas vezes eu devo admitir. Eu trabalharia um pouco e depois reiniciei. E, no final do dia, posso dizer que nunca caiu. Isso me leva a pensar que há algo em jogo com entropia ou coleta de lixo aqui.
