Acho que iniciar alguns aplicativos (principalmente os do KDE) faz com que seu volume em áudio de pulso seja definido para 100%. Se subsequentemente outro aplicativo (um gnome um) for iniciado, seu volume também será definido como 100%, em vez de como foi a última vez que foi executado.
Este provavelmente não é o bug relatado aqui: link Eu também tentei alterar a opção de configuração flat-volumes como sugerido no link , mas sem efeito.
Aqui está um registro do que acontece quando um aplicativo do KDE como o kolourpaint é iniciado. O erro é mostrado na última linha, mas pode ser uma consequência de uma das linhas anteriores. Qualquer dica de como consertar isso seria apreciado.
