Parece que você está executando o VirtualBox 4.3, mas o PPA para o VirtualBox nos repositórios do Ubuntu está puxando uma versão mais antiga 4.1.12.
Se você quiser instalar as adições de guest de caixa virtual para a versão correta do VirtualBox que está rodando, eu sugiro usando a opção de menu Virtual Box Manager .
