O Windows 10 continua esquecendo os sons de notificação

Configurei o Windows 10 para reproduzir um determinado som quando um aplicativo é iniciado ou finalizado. Funciona bem, mas da próxima vez que eu ligar meu computador, esses sons foram removidos.

Isso funcionou perfeitamente no Windows 7 e funcionou bem no Windows 10 por algumas semanas. É apenas a última semana que começou a "esquecer" a configuração do som.

Os sons padrão são mantidos, por exemplo, login, logout, mensagem de aviso, etc. Talvez seja revertido para os padrões?

O que pode estar causando isso e como posso corrigi-lo?

Aqui está a resposta apenas no caso de o site remover o conteúdo.

1. Type regedit in the search box Windows+S) on your Start menu or taskbar, and press Enter to open Registry Editor.

2. In Registry Editor, navigate to the location below. (see screenshot below)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps

3.Intheleftpane,expandopenthe.Default(Windowssounds),Explorer(FileExplorersounds),and/orsapisvr(WindowsSpeechRecognitionsounds)keys.(seescreenshotabove)

4.Intheleftpaneunderthe.Default,Explorer,orsapisvrkey,click/taponthesubkey(ex:Nofication.Mailunder.Default)fortheeventyouwanttochangethesoundof.(seescreenshotabove)

5.Intheleftpaneundertheselectedsoundevent(ex:Nofication.Mail),selectthe.Currentsubkey,anddoubleclick/tapon(Default)intherightpane.(seescreenshotbelow)

6. Type in the full path of the unblocked .wav file you want to be applied to the event, and click/tap on OK. (see screenshot below)

7.Repeatstep4aboveifyouwouldliketochangethesoundforanyotherevent.

8.Whenfinished,youcancloseRegistryEditorifyoulike.
