Eu tenho um laptop Asus A55V com o Windows 8 instalado. Agora estou tentando desligar os gestos do touchpad. No Superusuário eu encontrei esta resposta :
However, after experimenting with drivers I found a Synaptics driver from ASUS that comes with something they call ASUS Smart Gesture. There, under the Edge Gesture tab one can disable the different swipe gestures. Easier and safer than messing with the registry.
However this only works for ASUS computers, while Daniel B's answer should work for most Synaptic touchpads.

Tente procurar uma versão on-line do software, talvez seja adequado que está no < link strong> Touchpad (2) .
Após o download, descompacte e instale o software, reinicie o computador, se necessário, e tente seguir as instruções típicas
