Como instalo o Parallels Guest Tools no Maverick?

Estou testando o Maverick em uma VM do Parallels 6 e encontrando alguns problemas com o script de instalação das Ferramentas do convidado:

Alguém conseguiu instalar isso com sucesso? Existe algo que eu possa consertar no meu fim, ou eu tenho que esperar o Parallels apoiá-lo?

Por que isso levou três dias de idas e vindas com o suporte por e-mail deles para extrair esse URL deles está além de mim.

Parece que os módulos do kernel do Parallels Guest Tools não suportam o Linux 2.6.35 ainda. Você pode baixar uma versão mais recente das ferramentas? Se não, você terá alguma edição de código-fonte para fazer. (Eu não tenho Parallels, então esta é toda a extensão do conselho que posso dar. :-P)
