Modem PCI LTE incorporado no HP EliteBook 850 G5 não reconhecido no Arch Linux

Estou tentando executar um modem LTE em um HP EliteBook 850 G5. Mas parece que não é reconhecido pelo sistema. Eu recebo uma mensagem do gerenciador de modem:

Parece que o "Wireless controller" em 3b:00.0 é o modem PCI LTE; pesquisando o id 8086:7360 confirma isso.

Portanto, as mensagens do gerenciador de modem são falsas.

O Google também exibe este tweet de abril de 2018, que faz com que pareça que atualmente não há driver para este dispositivo no kernel Linux.
