rclone falha ao sincronizar no sistema de arquivos local

Ubuntu 16.04 Rclone v1.36

Falha ao sincronizar dois diretórios localmente. Rodando como root, eu posso escrever nos diretórios.

Isso funcionou bem quando usei meu diretório home ~ em vez de tmp.

Perguntando ao canal do Rclone, recebi esta resposta:

maybe you have some restricting mount options on /tmp ?

Qual eu não acho que tenho. De qualquer forma, não funcionou para mim em temp.
