Mantém a detecção do SELinux como habilitado, mesmo que eu tenha desabilitado (Ao tentar instalar o FreePBX)

Eu estava seguindo este guia para instalar o FreePBX no CentOS 6.9 (minimaslist), tudo funcionou, até a última etapa para instalar o FreePBX: ./install -n de /usr/src/freepbx , continuo recebendo a mensagem de erro follwing:

Assuming you are Database Root
Checking if SELinux is enabled...Error!
SELinux is enabled.  Please disable SELinux before installing FreePBX.

Eu desativei o SELinux, escrevendo SELINUX=disabled no seguinte arquivo /etc/sysconfig/selinux e reiniciei, mas continuo tendo o mesmo problema. Para referência, aqui está a saída de cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux :

Já enfrentei esse problema antes: Uma busca rápida me fez perceber que, para desabilitar o SELinux, eu tenho que modificar /etc/selinux/config , fazendo isso para sestatus :

SELinux status:                 disabled
