pass variable no script de instalação

Eu pesquisei e nenhuma das respostas encontradas me ajudou. Eu tenho um script de instalação que está sendo executado em uma conta de usuário que solicita várias variáveis cada arquivo grava muito bem, exceto para minha configuração de nginx. Eu não posso conseguir passar a variável para mim, não importa o que eu tente.

Ao usar heredoc EOF entre aspas simples, você efetivamente desativa qualquer substituição entre EOFs. A ativação da substituição no seu caso quebrou as variáveis nginx , como $fastcgi_script_name , portanto, tente a solução abaixo
