Estou tentando instalar o apache2.4.23 no centos 6.8 e estou recebendo isso:

Eu tentei instalar o openssl 1.1.0 e reconfigurar a instalação do apache com:
./configure --enable-layout=admin --enable-mpms-shared=all --with-ssl=/usr/local/bin/openssl
Ainda recebendo o mesmo problema, alguma ideia?
Depois de muita documentação eu achei que o problema estava em openssl version , no meu caso eu estava usando o openssl 1.1.x assim quando o httpd 2.4.23 foi lançado o openssl 1.1.0 ainda estava beta, eu instalei o openssl 1.0. 2j e eu compilei o apache com:
./configure --with-apr=/usr/local/apr/bin --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl/bin/
