Bem, eu tive que iniciar o cliente dhcp e tudo começou a funcionar no edison.

Estou tentando trazer o modem USB 3g (Huawei E8231) para a Intel Edison.
Depois de ativar o driver cdc_ether através do yocto build, vejo que um dispositivo ethernet é criado quando eu insiro o dongle.

A interface parece ser up
, mas não consigo fazer ping em nenhum site.

Tentei fazer o ping do endereço IP. Não há sorte com isso também.

Basicamente Como posso depurar isso? É um problema do servidor dns? Eu não tenho ideia. Eu estou tentando descobrir isso.

O link ethernet está pronto. Eu não tenho que fazer ifconfig enx001e101f0000 up
também. Tudo acontece por padrão e eu posso usar a internet sem problemas.
Portanto, estou duvidando que algumas configurações de kernel ausentes ou uma configuração ausente estejam causando o problema.
Estou procurando dicas / dicas para depurar esse problema.
