Como posso me conectar a um endereço MAC específico para um SSID WiFi com vários APs?

Existem vários pontos de acesso com o mesmo nome SSID. Eu gostaria de me conectar ao que eu quero por endereço MAC, ou bloquear os que eu não quero por endereço MAC. Eu encontrei algumas instruções de uma versão mais antiga do Mac OS X para conectar-me a um certo acesso ponto pelo endereço MAC. Eu tentei estes, mas eles não funcionam mais em 10.11.6 El Capitan:

In Terminal, type:

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/airport --associate=XXX --bssid=YYY

Where XXX is the SSID/network name and YYY the MAC address of the base station you want to talk to.

Agora, em El Capitan, parece que essas bandeiras foram removidas. O resultado que eu recebo é:

airport: unrecognized option '--associate=xfinitiwifi'

Eu vejo uma preferência de Assoc , mas não sei como usá-la. Você sabe como posso forçar meu Mac a se conectar ou rejeitar pontos de acesso específicos por endereço MAC? Existem vários pontos de acesso, todos com o mesmo nome SSID WiFi.
