Apenas uma CPU está sendo usada

Question

Estou executando o Ubuntu 12.04.5, tenho um Asus N53sv e estou tendo o mesmo problema que o post abaixo, mas becuase meu bios é diferente eu não posso aplicar a mesma correção.

Como corrigir que apenas um dos quatro núcleos da minha CPU é detectado?

Eu adicionei o mesmo nolapic ao grub para permitir que eu inicie e desligue o computador corretamente.

Na minha BIOS não havia Installer OS select .

Qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada.
