Meu problema é assim: Abrindo o Update software center aparece uma janela de erro dizendo: "Itens não podem ser instalados ou excluídos até que o catálogo de pacotes seja reparado ..." Clico em reparar, mas falha.
executando o sudo apt-get update falha este é o relatório de erros:

Eu tentei: lendo outras respostas dos gostos e fazendo o que eles sugeriram:
1. mudando o servidor que eu uso
2.
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get -f install
3. o seguinte não funcionou:
cd /var/lib/apt
sudo mv lists lists.old
sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
