instalando o GitLab no CentOS7 com falha devido a criação no usuário do recurso

Estou tentando instalar o gitlab em uma VM no VirtualBox executando o CentOS 7

Estou seguindo as seguintes instruções: link (para o CentOS)

Eu configurei o gitlab.rb para conter:

external_url "http://gitlab.localhost.com/"

e quando eu corro sudo gitlab-ctl reconfigure Estou recebendo os seguintes erros:

Esse problema específico foi resolvido criando outro usuário e executando o comando como esse usuário. O usuário 'git' não pôde executá-lo sozinho.

Eu tive o mesmo problema porque mudei o caminho de início do meu usuário do Git.

cat /etc/passwd

Se você alterou também, você pode configurá-lo para o diretório padrão /var/opt/gitlab .
