Como atualizo o utilitário de correção?
Estou com problemas quando aplico o patch da seguinte forma.
patch -p6 < ../kernelpatchXXXX
Novos diretórios e arquivos são criados em vez de modificar os arquivos existentes.
A versão do patch que eu uso é a seguinte.
:~$ patch -v
patch 2.6

Eu verifiquei o site GNU do Patch e descobri que há uma versão estável 2.7
Alguém pode me ajudar a atualizar?
